Zinaida Zubova

Zinaida Zubova, of Highland Park, passed away Friday March 22, 2024 at home.  She was 89.   Born in Kyiv Ukraine, although her grandparents and many relatives perished during World War II, she and her parents and sister were lucky to escape Nazism.  She came to the United States in 1993 and resided in Highland Park.

Zinaida was a Civil Engineer in Kyiv, retiring in 1991.   She loved to read, especially Russian classics.

She’s predeceased by her parents Michael and Eve (Galperin) Zubov, and her sister Irina Zubova.

Surviving is her beloved husband Shulim Dolgonos; her son and daughter-in-law Michael and Irina Dolgonos of Basking Ridge; two grandchildren Alex and Dina and two great grandchildren Adrian and Sebastian.

Graveside services were held on Monday, March 25^th, 11:00 am at Beth Abraham Cemetery, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick.  Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown, NJ 08850.   You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com .
