Yan Veselyy, of New Brunswick, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 86.
Born in Mytishchi, Russia, he lived in Kiev Ukraine while working as a construction engineer. In 1994, Yan came to the United States and resided in Brooklyn for several years before moving to New Brunswick 17 years ago.
Yan enjoyed reading, politics and WWII history. He was a good man who instilled tradition and values in his family, while providing, protecting and supporting them.
Surviving are his children: Max (Yanina) Vesely of East Brunswick and Nella Veselaya of San Francisco, and their mother Mariya Veselaya of Long Branch; and his grandchildren Maya, Benjamin, Anna and Eva.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 14th, 12:00 pm (noon) at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Burial will follow at Beth Abraham Cemetery in East Brunswick. You may sign the online condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
