William A. Ellison, of Milltown, passed away Thursday, July 8, 2021 at home. He was 81.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, he lived most of his life in Milltown. He was a graduate of St. Peter's High School and a parishioner of St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church in New Brunswick.
Bill retired from Carolina Freight Carriers. As a young man he had delivered milk for his uncle's dairy in the New Brunswick area. He loved watching Nascar and traveling. One of his most memorable trips was an African Safari that he and his wife Nancy took.
He's predeceased by his parents John R. and Florena (Meserole) Ellison, his sister Janice Weingart and his brother John Ellison.
Surviving is his beloved wife Nancy (Weh) Ellison; his stepchildren John and Marlene Schepise of Milltown, Robert Schepise of North Brunswick and Nancy and Gerald Sarno of Freehold; his grandchildren Ryan (Ashlei) and Brad Schepise, and Scott (Jill) and Amy Remite; his nieces Susan Weingart, Eileen Lesniak (Mark), Regina (Richard) Zeleznok, Kathleen (Thomas) Picone, Theresa Ellison, Rosemarie (Kevin) Kessinger and Caroline Turner; his great niece and nephew Hannah and Mark, and several cousins and great nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, July 12th, 10:30 am, at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church in New Brunswick. Entombment will follow at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may come to the visitation before the mass, from 9:00 am – 10:00 am, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown.
