William D. Deinzer

Milltown

William D. Deinzer, of Milltown, passed away Sunday, September 8, 2024 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 64. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Milltown all of his life. He enjoyed spending summers in Midway beach.

He was a director of the Middlesex County Weights & Measurers and Consumer Affairs, before retiring in 2020.

Bill was a former Councilman of Milltown and former Milltown Democratic Chairman. He was active in his children’s sports, coaching Little League softball, Buddy Ball baseball and basketball, and Our Lady of Lourdes basketball. He was a football fan of Notre Dame, and the Dolphins.

He’s predeceased by his parents Charles and Jane (Ware) Deinzer and his sister Mary Lynn Torre (d. 2021).

Surviving is his loving wife of 35 years, Cindy (Frost) Deinzer; his beloved children Hailey of Helmetta and Zachary of Milltown; his brother John Deinzer (Jane) of Brick Twp., his brother-in-laws John Torre of North Brunswick, Ronald Frost (Kerri) of Milltown and Kevin Frost (Dawn) of Milltown; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and relatives may call on Thursday, September 12th, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, 10:00 am, at St. Mary of Mt. Virgin RC Church, Sanford St. & Remsen Avenue, New Brunswick. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park, East Brunswick.
