Walter G. Shiffner Jr., of Piscataway, passed away February 11, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He was 78.
Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Piscataway for the past several years.
Walter worked for the North Plainfield Board of Education before retiring. He served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War. Walter loved fishing and hunting in his free time.
He is predeceased by his wife Louise Shiffner (d. 2000), his twin brother Robert Shiffner (d. 1993), and parents Walter G. Shiffner Sr. (d. 1983) and Henrietta Dietrich Shiffner (d. 1999).
Surviving are several cousins.
Burial with Military Honors was held on Monday, February 22nd, at Franklin Memorial Park in North Brunswick. Arrangements were by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St. at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com.
