Virginia M. Tarzia

Virginia M. Tarzia, of East Brunswick, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 13, 2023. She was 90. Born in Brooklyn, she's lived in East Brunswick for the past 50 years.

She was a parishioner of St. Bartholomew RC Church in East Brunswick , and a member of the Altar Rosary Society. She most recently worked at the JC Penny Catalogue Department in East Brunswick.

Virginia was a wonderful cook and baker. She enjoyed teatime with cookies. She was a very loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her beloved family.

She's predeceased by her husband Aldo Tarzia (d. 2019) and her son Gerard Tarzia (d. 2005).

Surviving is her loving daughter Maryrose Toto of East Brunswick and her fiancé Joe Giacobbe; her daughter-in-law Robin Tarzia of Ambler, PA; her brother Thomas O'Brien; her grandchildren Kelsey (Dan) Rowley, Luke and Claire Tarzia, Kyle and Dominique Toto, Joseph (Cate) & Dan (Nicole) Giacobbe; her great grandchildren Joey, Emma, Alicia, Tabitha and Drew; and her devoted furry "Baby" Jorgio.

Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, January 22nd, from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Ave, Milltown. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, 10:00 am at St. Bartholomew RC Church, Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. Burial will follow at Brig General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Park in Wrightstown, NJ.
