Vasant S. Jagad

Vasant (Jajal) Jagad, of Hillsborough, passed away Monday, March 1, 2021 at home. She was 90.
Born in Zanzibar, she married Surendra Hariray Jagad in 1959 in Rajkot, Gujarat. She came to the United States in 1988 and resided in Edison, Manalapan and Kendall Park, before moving to Hillsborough 10 years ago.
Vasant loved nature and enjoyed gardening, cooking and sight seeing.
She's predeceased by her husband Surendra Hariray Jagad (d. April 2020).
Surviving are sons and daughter-in-laws, Utpal and Della Jagad of Hillsborough and Samir and Nikita Jagad of Hoffman Estates, IL; her grandchildren Bianca Shah, Nainee Jagad, Yash Jagad and Rahul Jagad; her great grandson Rohil Shah; her brothers Manu Jajal and Bhupendra Jajal both Ontario, Canada, and her sister Prabha Maniyar of Washington, DC.
Pooja services will be held for Vasant on Thursday, March 4th, from 9:30 – 11:30 am at Franklin Memorial Park, Rt. 27 and Cozzens Lane in North Brunswick.
