Thomas A. Gourley passed away June 13th, 2025 at home after a long illness. Born in New Brunswick, New Jersey on August 29th, 1949. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Marion (Albrecht) Gourley and brother Kevin Gourley.
He grew up in the Milltown area before his parents settled in Monroe Township and has lived in Monroe for over 56 years.
Tom worked for Verizon as an installer for several year before becoming a splicer out of the Ferris Street Garage in East Brunswick. There was where he met and married his devoted wife, Susan.
He was a member of the IBEW Local 827 as well as the NRA. He also enjoyed building his ’31 Model A. He enjoyed vacations, Atlantic City but became a homebody after retirement, devoting all his time taking impeccable care of his home.
Thomas leaves behind his wife of 39 precious years together, Susan (Seitz), brother Russel and Lance, his aunt, several cousins, nephews and nieces. His Brother-in-law Eugene Seitz and wife Nancy, sister-in-law Roberta VanDerveer.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, June 19th, 2025, from 4:00 - 8:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 North Main Street-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Cremation will be private. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
