Thomas V. Faro, formerly of East Brunswick, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. He was 95. Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Highland Park, East Brunswick and Englewood Florida, before moving to Old Bridge 3 years ago.
Tom worked for Ford Motor Corp in Edison, for 36 years, retiring in 1992. He served in the United States National Guard at Camp Kilmer. He was a Gold member and Past President of the Eagle’s Club in New Brunswick and Somerset.
Tom enjoyed working on antique cars, especially his red and white T-Bird. He and his late wife Kathy would breed and raise poodles.
He’s predeceased by his parents Ferdinando and Carmela Faro, his beloved wife Katherine (Germain) Faro (d. 2010), his 3 children Donald Murtha, David Murtha, Patty Snyder, his granddaughter Senda Faro and his siblings Vincent, Joe, Andy, Helen, Angie, and Loretta.
Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held on Wednesday, September 27th, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Crabiel Home For Funerals located at 170 North Main Street - at Riva Avenue in Milltown, NJ.
A Mass to celebrate Thomas's life will take place on Thursday, September 28th, 10:00 am, at St. Bartholomew RC Church in East Brunswick. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, www.stjude.org .
