Therese El Khoury Souaid

Therese El Khoury Souaid, passed away Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Hackensack Medical Center. She was 73. Born in Jbeil (Byblos), Lebanon; but lived her last 4 years in New Jersey with her son.
Since her husband passed away early on, Therese mother of four kids, took charge of her family, opening her own business helping and guiding her kids through her example to success in life.
Therese's roles were many; she was a beloved wife of (Charles Moutran 1940-1998); mother, grandmother, community volunteer and friend; who loved to keep the family together by cooking and to entertain.
She was very prayerful and was active in the Ladies Solidarity in St. Rita Catholic Church and St. Takla Maronite Catholic Church, both in Lebanon.
A sweet and strong woman, being a survivor of lung transplant, who always looked at life with a smile in her face, gratefulness heart, and faith in God regardless of her circumstances.
She is survived by her 4 kids Marlene El Badaoui & Maya Kougioumtzis both of Paris, Mirna Saliba of Lebanon and Rabih Moutran of Cresskill New Jersey, 2 brothers John and Roger Souaid, both of East Brunswick; her 3 sisters Samira Semaan, Josephine Souaid and Renee Farhat, all of Lebanon; 9 grandchildren, and numerous nieces, and nephews.
Visitation for family and friends will on Tuesday, November 30th, from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 North Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Burial will take place at San Jacob Cemetery in Jbeil, Lebanon. You may sign the online obituary "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
