Theodore M. Belcheff
August 17, 1929 — February 16, 2018
Theodore M. Belcheff, of East Brunswick, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at home. He was 88.
Born in Rahway, he lived in Iselin before moving to East Brunswick over 50 years ago.
Before retiring, he was a teacher at Hammarskjold Middle School in East Brunswick. He graduated from Marietta College in Ohio, where he met his wife Mary.
During the Korean War, he was stationed in Japan with the United States Airforce. He had a passion for cooking and photography and he enjoyed camping and RVing. He also was a member of the Free & Accepted Masons.
Ted is predeceased by his wife Mary (Kiriakis) Belcheff (d. 2017), and his brother Alex and sister Mary.
Surviving are his sons, Michael Belcheff of St. Croix, US Virgin Islands and Thomas Belcheff of East Brunswick; and his sister Dora Belcheff.
Friends and relatives may call on Tuesday, February 20th, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main Street-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Burial of cremated remains will be Wednesday, 11:30 am at Elmwood Cemetery in New Brunswick.
