Taraben N. Patel

Taraben N. Patel, of Monroe Twp., passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023 at Alameda Health Care in Perth Amboy. She was 87. Born in Thovani Gujarat, India, she came to the United States in 1986. She resided in Scranton before moving to Monroe Township in 1991.

Mrs. Patel worked for a company in Scranton before retiring in 1989. She enjoyed watching Indian TV shows.

She’s predeceased by her loving husband Naginbhai C. Patel (d. 2000).

Surviving is her daughter Geeta Patel of North Brunswick, NJ; her sons Mukesh Patel of Sayreville, NJ; Piyush Patel of Monroe Twp. and Kaushin Patel of India; 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Pooja services will be held on Tuesday, October 10th, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm at Holy Cross Crematory, 840 Cranbury South River Road, East Brunswick (Jamesburg 08831).
