It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish; it saddens us to say goodbye to a truly beloved individual. On Friday, April 10th at 3:53 pm, Surendra Hariray Jagad, 87, passed away at RWJ Hospital in Somerset. He passed away due to complications stemming from the COVID-19 virus. Surendra was born on October 28th,1933 in Khambhat, India to Father, Hariray Jagad, and Mother, Kashi Jagad. Surendra had a wonderful childhood and upbringing.
Surendra attended college at Gujarat State University in Ahmedabad, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering. He worked for a company in India, traveling to Switzerland & Germany, amongst many other places in Europe to conduct business. Needless to say, he lovingly provided for his wife and two children. Surendra was happily married on April 23rd, 1959 in Rajkot, Gujarat to his adoring wife, Vasant Jagad. Surendra's hobbies & interests included free-hand drawing, photography, puzzles, spending time with family, Indian folk-music, and handiwork.
Surendra is survived by his wife, Vasant Jagad, and his two children, Utpal & Samir Jagad. Furthermore, he is survived by his grandchildren: Bianca Shah, Nainee Jagad, Yash Jagad, Rahul Jagad, and great-grandson Rohil Shah.
A Father, a Grandfather, a Great-Grandfather, A paragon of living life beautifully, will forever be remembered & loved.
