Surendra M. Daiya, of Jersey City, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at home. He was 81. Born in Karachi, India, he came to the United States in 2018.
Surendra was self employed before retiring. He loved being with his family.
He's predeceased by his brother Narendra Daiya (d. 2020) and his sister Manjula Thakkar (d. 2016).
Surviving is his wife Prabha (Thakkar) Daiya; his sons Piyush and Mihir, both of Jersey City; his grandchild Jayna, and his sisters Nalini Somaiya and Purnima Shah.
Pooja services will be held on Wednesday, October 6th, from 9:00 – 11:00 am at Holy Cross Crematory, 870 Cranbury-So River Road, East Brunswick (Jamesburg 08831). Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. You may sign the online condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
