Steven P. Updegraff, of North Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at home. He was 49. Born in Williamsport, PA he graduated from Westminster Choir College. He lived in Sayreville before moving to North Brunswick 18 years ago.
Steven was a dedicated teacher and choir director for 27 years. He taught music at Old Bridge High School and sang in the choir at Nassau Presbyterian Church in Princeton. He also sang with the Opera Festival of New Jersey.
He was a Steelers and Eagles fan and enjoyed collecting comic books. He loved spending time with his children and was a very devoted and loving father.
He's predeceased by his father Steven L. Updegraff; his grandparents, Phillip and Clara DeGregory; Clarence and Amy Updegraff.
Surviving is his loving wife Jessica (Santibanez) Updegraff; his beloved children Cassandra, Hannah and Nathaniel; his mother and step-father Helen and Dave Peterson of Williamsport, PA; his sister Valerie Reid (Chris) and niece Sydney Reilly of Wyalusing, PA; his mother-in-law and father-in-law Judith and Alfredo Santibanez of Princeton Jct.; his brother-in-law David Santibanez of Princeton Jct; and his step-brother DJ Peterson of Williamsport, PA.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, October 7th, 11:00 am, at Nassau Presbyterian Church, 61 Nassau Street, Princeton, NJ 08542. Burial will be private.
