Steven J. Peschek

Steven J. Peschek, of Edison, passed away on March 7, 2023 at his home.  He was 75.  Born and raised in New Brunswick, he graduated from New Brunswick High School.  He resided in Edison for the past 35 years.

Steven was a United States Airforce Veteran serving during the Vietnam War.  He was member of Teamsters Union 863 and Mid-Jersey Trucking Local 701. He worked as a forklift operator for Twin County Grocers in Edison for several years, before retiring.  When young, Steve could be found playing softball, tennis, skiing, or on a beach somewhere. He loved the Jersey shore, especially Ocean Grove. Later in life he renewed his relationship with God and became a champion for many charitable causes.

He is predeceased by his parents John Sr. and Mary (Nemes) Peschek.

Surviving are his brother and sister-in-law John Jr. and Rosemarie Peschek of Milltown, his nephew Christopher Peschek of Hensley, AR, his niece and her husband Jennifer and Donald Smith, and great niece and nephew Kyra and Preston Smith of Milltown.

Funeral services are private.  Burial will be a Brig General William C Doyle Veterans Memorial Park in Wrightstown.  Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown.  You may sign the condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
