Souad Chalhoub, of Montvale, passed away Tuesday, June 26, 2018 at Atrium Care of Park Ridge. She was 86.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon, she came to the United States in 1995. She lived in Paterson and Clifton before moving to Montvale a few years ago.
Souad was a loving mother and grandmother. She was the ultimate homemaker and enjoyed cooking, gardening and crocheting for her family.
She's predeceased by her husband Antoine J. Chalhoub (d. 2012).
Surviving is her daughter and son-in-law, Claude and Emil Nicolas of Montvale; her sons and daughter-in-laws, Elie and Jeanne Chalhoub of Wayne, Joseph and Maya Chalhoub of Wayne, and Michael and Ghada Chalhoub of W. Milford, PA; and her brother Edward Eid, and sisters Dora, Mona and Georgette, all of Lebanon.
A Visitation for friends and relatives will be on Thursday, from 5:00 – 8:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Mass will be held on Friday, June 29th, 10:30 am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Church, Easton Avenue, Somerset. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway..
