Sofiya Antimoni, of Somerset, passed away Friday, April 10, 2020 at Regency Heritage in Somerset. She was 98.
Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, she lived there most of her life working as an attorney in the St. Petersburg's Attorneys Association. She was a survivor of a Siege of Leningrad during WWII.
Sofiya came to the United States in 1992 and resided in Brooklyn, NY for 15 years, before moving to Metuchen and Somerset.
She's predeceased by her daughter Inna Rozina (d. 1985), her husband Iosif Rozin (d. 1987), and her brother Yuri Antimoni (d. 2004).
Surviving is her son Evgeniy Rozin and his wife Galina of Lynn, MA; her granddaughters Elizabeth Rozina and her husband Eugene of North Brunswick, NJ; Marina Rabinovich and her husband Michael of Marblehead, MA and her great grandchildren Rashel, Gaby, Greg and Inna.
