Sidney Silver husband of the late Jean Silver passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 30th, 2020.
Sid was born and raised in Brooklyn by his late parents Sol and Sadie Silver. He served in U.S. Army from 1950-1956. Sid and Jean married in 1961. They eventually left Brooklyn to build a home in Kendall Park, where they resided over 40 years. Sid worked for the Coca-Cola Bottling Company of New York and later purchased his own Co-ca-Cola distributorship under the name Crown Distributors. After selling the business in 1986, he worked part time for the next 11 years delivering payroll for ADP in Princeton. He loved playing golf, listing to music and traveling, especially going to Puerto Rico every year.
He is survived by his son Curtis Silver of Piscataway. His Daughter Emily Turker and her husband Brad of Hebron CT. His grandchildren Ashley Mitchell and her Fiance Mathew Gionfriddo of Giastonbury, CT, Drew Mitchell and his Fiance Courtney Keegan and grandson Logan Mitchell of Salem, VA. Step grandchildren Sarah Turker, Jacob Turker and Sam Turker. The family would like to extend their Sincere gratitude to Dr. Rizvi and his entire staff in Monroe Township and to Grace Hospice for their amazing care.
