Sheela Jani

Sheela Jani of Hazlet passed away peacefully June 13th, 2021, at the age of 76. She was born in Talaja and grew up in Bhavnagar India, before coming to America in 1971.
She graduated with two masters in sociology and criminology from Gujarat University. She worked for many employers, but spent most of her career with AT&T as an analyst.
Sheela enjoyed doing Yoga, cooking for the family, and spending time with her grandchildren. She was also a very spiritual person and devoted to her faith.
She is survived by her husband Harendra Jani of Hazlet, Son Kurang Jani of Hazlet, Daughter Beena Jani of Montclair; Her sisters Sudha Oza of Hazlet, Jagruti Soni of Kansas, Seema Mehta of Pittsburgh and Shobha Astik of Warrensburg, Mo; and Her two grandchildren Sunaina and Vikram Sood.
The Pooja service will take place June 17th, 2021, at Franklin Memorial Park from 1:00-3:00pm. In Lieu of Flowers a donation can be made in Sheela Jani's name to the COPD foundation. Click on link to donate
