Sarlaben D. Patel, of Piscataway, passed away Monday, July 20, 2026, at Arista Care in South Plainfield. She was 86 years old. Born in Anand India, she came to the United States in 1989.

• She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.  She enjoyed Bhajan and Ghosti, and chatting with friends.

She is predeceased by her husband Dineshbhai S. Patel (d. 2017) and her parents Chotabhai Jivabhai Patel & Surajben Chotabhai Patel.

Surviving are her family members Prashant Patel, Rupaben Patel, Ashna Patel of Hamden CT, Sandip Patel , Jennyben Patel, Ria Patel, Kush Patel of Furlong, PA, Kamini Patel, Subhash Patel, Kesha Patel, Neel Patel of Dayton NJ, and Paxaben Patel, Nitang Patel, Deep Patel, Yesha Patel of Piscataway NJ.

A Pooja (Funeral) will be held on Wednesday, July 22nd, from 12:30 pm – 2:30 pm, at Holy Cross Crematory, Cranbury-South River Road, East Brunswick (Jamesburg). Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown, NJ 08850.
