Sandra Powless

Sandra Powless, of New Brunswick, passed away Friday, December 4, 2020 at Green Knoll Center in Bridgewater. She was 70. Born in New Brunswick, she lived there all of her life.
Sandy started working for the County of Middlesex when she was 18 years old. She retired in 2011 as an administrative assistant with the Middlesex County Counsel office.
She loved all animals and especially her loving cats.
Sandy is predeceased by her beloved mother Gwendolyn (Lowe) Powless (d. 2011).
Surviving are many cousins, including Kalman Vassi of Goodview, VA, and her very dear friends Francesca and Steve Drulis of East Brunswick, Daniela and Jimmy Walsh of Connecticut, Michael and Mitchelle Drulis of Ringoes, and Catherine and Stephen Kovarcik of East Brunswick and their children, Robert, Brianna, Torri, Carissa, Gabriela and Emily.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 9th, 11:00 am, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. Burial will follow at Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick. Friends and relatives may call from 10:00 am until time of service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Animal Rescue, www.aspca.org or the Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org . You may sign the online condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
