Ronald Ferrara

Ronald Ferrara, born October 25, 1947, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2026. He was a devoted family man and a professional who successfully transitioned from a career as an electrical engineer into the sales sector, demonstrating adaptability and a strong work ethic throughout his lifetime.

Ronald was known for his deep love of family and cherished the time he spent with his children and loved ones. His interests were diverse and reflected his vibrant personality: he enjoyed fishing, had a keen interest in computers, was an enthusiastic admirer of Disney, and took great pride in his Corvettes. These passions were a testament to a life well-lived, marked by curiosity and joy.

He is survived by his wife, Suzette Ferrara of North Brunswick, who stood by his side through the many chapters of their life together. Ronald’s legacy continues through his children: son Shawn Ferrara of South Bound Brook and daughter Shanna Distefano and her husband Christopher of Milltown. His loving presence also lives on in his cherished grandchildren—Delaine and Brady Distefano, Carter and Brandon Ferrara—who carry forward the family bond he treasured so deeply.

Family, friends, and those who knew Ronald are invited to pay their respects at a visitation held on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at The Crabiel Home For Funerals, located at 170 North Main Street at Riva Avenue in Milltown, New Jersey. A Mass will follow on Tuesday, May 19, 2026, at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church on North Main Street in Milltown.

Ronald Ferrara’s professional achievements, commitment to his family, and his spirited interests paint the portrait of a man who embraced life with enthusiasm and integrity. He will be remembered fondly and missed deeply by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
