Robert A. Muscarella

Robert A. Muscarella, of Monroe Twp., passed away Thursday, March 2, 2023 at St. Peter’s Hospital in New Brunswick.  He was 80.  Born in New Brunswick, he lived in Milltown, North Brunswick and South Brunswick before moving to Monroe in 2021.

Before retiring in 1994, Bob was a senior design engineer for Johnson & Johnson in New Brunswick for 28 years.  He was corresponding secretary for the Italian American Club in North Brunswick for over 25 years.

He’s predeceased by his former wife and good friend Kathleen (Clark) Muscarella (d. 2021), his parents Gandolfo and Josephine (Consalvo) Muscarella, his brother Anthony Muscarella and his sister Vivian Gulotta.

Surviving is his daughter MaryBeth Day of Highland Park, his sons Bobby Muscarella of Wilmington, DE and Michael Muscarella (Ellen) of Thousand Oaks, CA, and his grandchildren Shelby and Kyle Day, Mackenzie, R.J. and Elliana Muscarella.

A Memorial Gathering will take place on Saturday, March 18^th, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown.  An inurnment will take place at St. Peter’s Cemetery in New Brunswick on March 18th at 11:00 am, prior to the Memorial Gathering.  You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
