Robert W. Booream

Robert W. Booream, formerly of Milltown, passed away Tuesday, April 12th 2022 in Ghent, New York. He was 89 years old. Born and raised in Milltown, Bob lived in South River before moving to Ghent 35 years ago.
Bob served as a Sargent in the United States Marine Corps from 1953-1956. He worked as an Operating Engineer IUOE Local 825 in Newark before his retirement in Bob was a member of F.A.M. Masonic Lodge #294 and the Sons of Milltown.
Bob is predeceased by his beloved wife Nicolette (Crowley) Booream, his sisters Jean Potter and Carolyn Suydam, a brother, William Booream Jr and his niece, Peggy (Potter) Wojtal.
Surviving nieces and nephews include Kathleen (Thomas) Ward, Patty Booream, Lynn(Suydam) Edwards, William Booream, Jeffrey (Susan) Suydam and Karen ( Dave) Peters.
After retirement, Bob and Nicky enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Canada. As much as Bob enjoyed traveling, Milltown always held a special place in his heart and he came back to New Jersey frequently to visit with family and friends.
Bob will be buried at Van Liew Cemetery in North Brunswick.
