Rita Lloyd, of Milltown, passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Care One in East Brunswick. She was 100 years old.
Born in Paterson, New Jersey she lived in Milltown for the past 34 years.
Mrs. Lloyd loved being with her family. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church in Milltown.
She's predeceased by her husband Lawrence Lloyd (d. 2008), her son-in-law Daniel McElroy (d. 2007), her three sisters and brother-in-laws – Anna and Al Zelitsky, Catherine and George Wagenheim and Margaret and Fred DeLong.
Surviving is her daughter, Mary Ann McElroy of Milltown, her son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Phyllis Lloyd of Peonia, Arizonia; her grandsons Andrew McElroy and Michael Lloyd; and her great granddaughter Nicole Lloyd; her nieces and nephews Lorrie and Bob Weisz, Sue and Bob Zelitsky, Mary Ellen Kaufer, Nancy and Don DeSmet, Douglas Wagenheim, Marge and Jack Jannucci and Fred DeLong; many great nieces and nephews especially Annie and Al Weisz and Taylor and Paige Zelitsky; and her favorite cat Cleo.
Friends and relatives may call on Sunday, from 2:00 – 6:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 29th, 10:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Milltown. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Burial Park in East Brunswick.
