Ralph M. Montero, of Milltown, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. He lived 54 beautiful years.
Born and raised in New Brunswick, he lived in North Brunswick before moving to Milltown in 1994. He received his BA from the School of Visual Arts, N.Y.C.
To know Matt is to love him. If he was in the room, there was always laughter. His competitive spirit playing, watching sports, and knowledge of sports trivia, brought a fun filled feeling to countless gatherings. His creative attributes were shared with others during work and at home, small reminders that showed his talents. Matt's talents were admired by many, his children's art projects, made to perfection, his love for art evident throughout his home and was a bond that he shared with his family. His renowned bear hugs embodied his beautiful nature.
Matthew's family was the heart and soul of his very existence. The comfort of home was his sanctuary, his children the pride of his life and his wife the best friend that he cherished. All together their relationship was that of love, joy and laughter. Inside jokes that only the four could understand. Sharing so much of his life with his mother-in-law, Martha and brother in-law Hector, his cousins, especially his kindred spirits, Jacqui, Marty, Gus, and beloved Terri. His generous heart with family was evident with the relaxed way that Matt could be himself in their company.
He's predeceased by his parents Rene and Sharon (Johnson) Montero.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 29 years, Tatiana Montero and his children whom he referred to as his "best friends", Natasha and Christian Montero of Milltown.
A private celebration of his life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Judes Children's Hospital, or Feed America. You may sign the online condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com
