With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of Rabih M. Gebrayel, who was welcomed into God’s embrace on March 6, 2025. Born in Lebanon, Rabih made Milltown, New Jersey, his home for many years, with loving wife Teresa Russo, dear daughter Gabryella, and their beloved dog Lily, who became his best friend, the day we brought her home.
Lebanon never left his heart—nor the heart of his beloved mother, who always wished for his return.
Affectionately known as Dr. Rob, Rabih was a light in the lives of all who knew him. He had a natural gift for making people laugh, his memory was incredible, always remembered people, and always brought joy to those around him. His passion for fitness and yoga kept him active, and allowed him to create a second family within his gym community. His love for cooking led him to create and catalog his favorite dishes, known as "Dr. Rob's Cookbook". His nieces and nephews will always remember him as their beloved family Santa, bringing magic and warmth to every holiday season.
He is reunited in eternity with his father, Michel Gebrayel, and his brother, Joseph. He will also be deeply missed by his mother Ayda (Gerges) Gebrayel (Lebanon), his loving wife Teresa Russo and daughter Gabryella of Milltown, his sisters Takla and Jerry Oflazian (Burlington), Michelle and Elias Nassif (Lebanon), and his brother Daniel and Micheline (Lebanon). A wonderful uncle, Rabih was adored by his nieces and nephews: Jonathan, Michael, Joyce, Roxanne, Andrew, Christina, Liliana, Genevieve, and Saba. His circle of love extended far beyond family, touching the lives of many dear friends.
Rabih’s laughter, kindness, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
A Visitation for relatives and friends will be held Tuesday, March 11th, from 4:00 – 8:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Funeral Mass of the Resurrection will be Wednesday, 10:00 am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, 526 Easton Avenue, Somerset. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in North Brunswick.
The family kindly asks for donations in Rabih’s memory to St. Sharbel Church in Franklin Twp, NJ, honoring his faith and the love he shared with the world. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
