Priyakant Parmar, of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro. He was 81.
Born in Ahmedabad, India, he came to the United States in 1987. He resided in Edison before moving to Dayton several years ago.
Mr. Parmar was a phlebotomist for NJ Blood Center in East Orange before retiring. He enjoyed watching cricket and listening to religious music. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He's predeceased by his son Sanjay Dhruv (d. 2015) and his sister Ilansa Parmar.
Surviving is his beloved wife of 53 years, Padma Parmar; his son Jay Dhruv of Dayton; his daughter Shaili Chauhan of Voorhees; his grandchildren Ravi, Jay, Esha and Kris Dhruv, and Raj and Ria Chauhan; his brohters Ramesh Parmar of Bernardsville, Harish Parmar of Princeton; Umakant Parmar of Avenel and Yogendra Parmar of Princeton; and his sister Sumitra Grupta of India.
Pooja services will be held Friday, December 21st, from 1:00 – 3:00 pm, at Holy Cross Crematory, Cranbury Road, East Brunswick (Jamesburg).
