Penka Ivanova, of Milltown, NJ, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 94.
Born in Stefan Stambolvo, Bulgaria, she came to the United States in 2002. She resided in New Brunswick before moving to Milltown 9 years ago.
Penka worked as a teacher and was an educator at heart. She had a passion for reading and also liked gardening and traveling. Most who knew her would describe her as the strongest, toughest lady they have ever met, always ready with a smile and a kind word. She was and will continue to be an inspiration for her family and friends.
