She moved to Monroe, NJ with her husband Alfred in 2015, to whom she was married for 69 years. To Al, she was affectionately known as his Pearly; they were high school sweethearts.
After being a dedicated mother and homemaker for 19 years, Pearl had a highly successful 25+ year career in Office Management, working for Dunlop Tires, Universal Furniture and General Office Environments. She paved the way as a professional role model for women who followed in her footsteps. Pearl was known for her unwavering work ethic; determination and she had a deep passion for her career.
Upon retiring, she enjoyed working part-time as a loyal staff member for the Milltown Public Library, where she was beloved by staff, patrons and friends. She treasured working with children at the library and assisting staff during story time and craft programs. Pearl graduated from New Utrecht High School in Brooklyn. Education was extremely important to Pearl and she worked hard to provide her children with greater opportunities than she had. Pearl was committed to ensuring each of her 4 children received a college degree.
Pearl was devoted to her large family and circle of friends; she loved fiercely and possessed a glittering spirit adored by many. She loved and rescued dogs, enjoyed tennis, ice skating, traveling, the beach, movies and music. Her life was simple; her life was her family. She cherished time spent with loved ones and created lasting bonds and memories. Pearl’s generosity beyond measure set a strong example for her children. To her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, she leaves behind a legacy of unconditional love and strength.
