Padmaben Surti, of Edison, left for her heavenly abode on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. She was 83.
Padmaben was very caring, kind and treated everyone like family. Her positive energy, love for life and radiant smile will forever be remembered. Ba! as she was refereed to by her loved ones, will be missed dearly. She enjoyed cooking and watching television. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Ba was a devoted mother, grandmother and loved to be with and take care of her grandkids. Ba helped many who were less fortunate than her, directly providing food and essentials to the needy.
She's predeceased by her husband Champaklal Surti (d. 2002).
Ba loved her family deeply and is survived by her sons Ramesh Surti of Iselin, Raju Surti of Edison, and Ajay Surti of Virginia Beach; her daughter Geeta Surti of Iselin; her eight grandchildren Jay, Karishma, Jaimin, Anant, Sajan, Aayush, Nikki and Fanny; and her four great grandchildren Veer, Arjun, Rashid and Ansh.
A Pooja service will be held on Saturday, November 13th, from 9:00 – 11:00 AM, at the Holy Cross Crematory, 840 Cranbury South River Road, Jamesburg, NJ 08831. (Crematory is all the way in the back of the cemetery). Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Prathana Sabha will be held in her memory on Friday, November 12th, from 7:00 – 8:00 PM, at her residence at 580 Old Post Road, Edison, NJ 08817
A Parayan will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 14th, at the BAPS Shree Swaminarayan Mandir located at 2500 Woodbridge Avenue, Edison, NJ 08817
