Monica B. Fleming passed away on January 17th, 2023, at the age of sixty-two. Monica was the second child of the late Richard and Anne Marie Fleming. She grew up in North Brunswick, New Jersey, was a graduate of the Hun School of Princeton, and earned her degree in Art History from Rutgers University.
Monica loved reading, including Charles Spurgeon, listening to Contemporary Christian music, especially Chris Tomlin, and worshiping at Calvary Chapel in Old Bridge, NJ. She enjoyed history and researching her family's ancestry as well as spending time with her family and friends. Monica started her career as a Consumer Protection investigator before turning her care for people into a life of service for individuals with disabilities and the elderly. She was an advocate and the primary caregiver for her parents.
Monica's interests were varied like visiting the apple festival at Peddler's Village, weekend retreats at the Fellowship Deaconry of Liberty Corner in Basking Ridge, New Jersey and vacationing at Spruce Lake Retreat Center in Canadensis, Pennsylvania.
Monica will be missed by her family, Mary Alice Robbins (Charlie) of Rural Hall, NC with children Ben, Tim (Joy) with children Elyse, Owen, Ezra and Wesley; Dave and Hannah; Celeste Fleming of Highland Park, NJ; Annemarie (Gabe) Kis-Horvath of White Plains, NY, with children Matthew and Lily; and Jessica Fleming of Florence NJ, with children Maxon, Phoebe, and Sebastien Lacher.
