Michel Yammine  (1930 – 2026)

How do we measure a life well-lived? Not in wealth accrued or titles won, but in the love and respect of one's children. By that sacred measure, Michel Yammine was a titan.

A man who turned dirt into gold, Michel possessed an alchemist's touch—not for precious metals, but for opportunity. Sensitive, generous, and fiercely loving, he was ambitious and tireless, yet his greatest priority was always family. He was a devoted husband who treated his wife with profound respect, receiving her care and gentleness a hundredfold in return.

A solid patriarch and supportive father, he led by example—courageous, unafraid to start over again and again, even in foreign lands. He held himself and his family to high standards, not from severity, but from love. Through every adversity, Michel walked with his heart open and his head high.

He will be profoundly missed—not only by his family, but by all whose lives he touched.

Michel is predeceased by his daughter Hanna Yammine (d. 2005), his son Elie Yammine (d. 2023), his parents Issa and Jamile (Masouha) Yammine.

Surviving are his loving children, daughters Leila (Alain) Chaoul of Lebanon and Marleine Yammine of Windsor; and sons Issa (Cindy) Yammine of SC, and Samir (Jodie) Yammine of Hamilton; his daughter-in-law Randa Yammine of Windsor; 12 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
