Beyond his professional accomplishments, Michael had a deep love for animals. He cherished his furry companions and found solace in their company. At the time of his passing, he was the proud owner of five cats and maintained a thriving fishpond that brought life and vibrancy into his home. In addition to his legal pursuits and dedication to animals, Michael had several hobbies and interests that brought joy into his life. He was an avid fan of both the New York Yankees and Mets, finding excitement in each swing of the bat and celebrating victories alongside fellow supporters. Furthermore, music held a special place in Michael's heart; he found solace in playing classical tunes on the piano, allowing himself to be transported to different realms through the power of music. Additionally, he took solace in listening to the velvety voice of Frank Sinatra, finding comfort in every note that resonated with his soul.

Michael possessed a remarkably outgoing personality that endeared him to all those fortunate enough to know him. Michael J. Grimaldi is pre deceased by his loving sister, Paula Grimaldi-Reardon, parents Jospeh & Rosaria who will forever keep his spirit close to her heart. His passing leaves a void in the lives of those closest to him, but he will be remembered as a beacon of strength and unwavering support.

The Memorial Service to celebrate Michael's remarkable life will be held on September 22, 2023, at The Crabiel Home For Funerals in Milltown, NJ. The service will commence at 12:00 PM and conclude at 2:00 PM. During this time, family, friends, and colleagues will gather to honor the profound impact Michael had on their lives.

In addition Michael's surviving family members include his brother Joe Grimaldi and his wife Kathleen of North Carolina, nephews Joseph Grimaldi of California and Nicolas Grimaldi of New Jersey, as well as nieces Kristyn Saile and her husband Zach, great niece Charlie.
