Maryann Cavanagh

Maryann (Morris) Cavanagh, formerly of Milltown, passed away July 22, 2026 at her home in Naples, Florida. She was 63 years old. Born in New Brunswick, she was raised in Milltown. She lived in Spotswood before moving to Naples 30 years ago.

Maryann was an Administrative Legal Assistant for Ronald Webster Law on Marco Island. She enjoyed camping and being outdoors. She especially loved the Smoky Mountains. She also loved music and cooking.

She is predeceased by her daughter Jean Helen (d. 1987), her parents William and Jean (Voorhees) Morris, her brothers-in-law Christopher Cavanagh, Edward Scanlon and Robert Beardsley, and her sister-in-law Maureen Morris.

Surviving is her loving husband of 39 years, Larry Cavanagh; her daughters Caitlin Hanna (Philopatier) of Cherry Hill and Lauren Cavanagh of Naples; her grandson Leonardo Hanna; her brothers Michael Morris (Christine) of SC, Billy Morris of Milltown and Richard Morris (Donna) of Millstone; her sisters Peggy Scanlon of South River, Cathy Beardsley of Milltown and Barbara Bur of Villas, NJ; her sister-in-law Carin Bruce (Robert) of Sayreville, her brother-in-law Patrick Cavanagh (Joan) of Flemington; her many loving nieces and nephews, and her beloved dog Rowdy.

A Memorial Gathering for family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 26th, 2026, from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown.
