Mary C. Kempf, formerly of Milltown, passed away Thursday, April 9, 2026 at Roosevelt Care Center in Old Bridge. She was 74 years old. Born in Jamaica Queens, she lived in Asbury Park and Milltown before being cared for by Roosevelt Care Center in Edison and, most recently Old Bridge.

She was an LPN had graduated from Monmouth Co. Vocational School of Practical Nursing in 1973. She worked for Heritage Nursing Home in Holmdel and JFK Hospital in Edison.

Mary was a former parishioner of St. Paul’s Church in Milltown and a member of the American Nurses Association. She enjoyed arts and crafts, bingo, and music. We will be sadly missed by her family, the caretakers, and friends at Roosevelt Care Center.

She’s predeceased by her parents, Emmanuel and Evelyn (Bennett) Marziale.

Surviving is her son John Kempf of Berkley Heights, her daughter Mary Bollar of Tulsa OK, her granddaughter Sophia, her brother David Marziale of Port Charlotte FL, and her ex-husband Lenny Kempf of Old Bridge.

A Gathering for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 17th, from 5:00 – 7:00 pm at The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown. A Memorial Service will be held during the visitation. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis. You may sign the online condolence “guestbook” at www.crabiel.com
