Maroun J. Khater, of Whitehouse Station, passed away Sunday September 17, 2017, in Colorado. He was 37. Born in Kherbet, Kanafar, Lebanon, he came to the United States in 1985. He lived in North Brunswick and Mechanicsburg PA before moving to Whitehouse Station 5 years ago.
He was a senior manager for Johnson & Johnson in Piscataway. He loved traveling, the San Francisco 49ers, music and the outdoors.
Maroun was loved and cherished by everyone who met him. His nieces and nephews were his pride and joy and he loved them like no other.
Surviving are his beloved parents, Joseph and Naila (Ajoury) Khater of North Brunswick; his grandmother Josephine (Yousef) Khater of Somerset; his sisters and brother-in-laws: Pascal and Erik Rivera of Edison, Margeritte and Daniel Santoro of Freehold, and Chantal and Andrew Nagy of Piscataway. Also surviving are his loving nieces and nephews Bradley, Malena and Juliana Santoro and Ryo Rivera; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, September 23rd, 10:00 am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church, Easton Ave, Somerset. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway.
