Marlene passed away on February 14, 2022. Surrounded by her family. Marlene Loreen Passley -Easie was born in Portland, Jamaica, West Indies on May 4, 1964, to John Passley a business man, and his fiancée Velma Querrete. Marlene was the second child and joined her brother Michael (Strats). Years later her sisters Jacqueline, Kerry Ann, Chamon, Coleen, Suzette, and brothers Dwight, Ramon, Rohan joined the family.
Her early childhood days were spent in the seaport town of Port Antonio where she attended the Port Antonio Comprehensive High School and graduated with honors in Home Economics. It was at this institution that she met the love her life Ludlow Easie. After graduation she was employed in the Hospitality Industry and excelled to lead Customer Service agent within concierge department at Goblin Hill Hotel, San San Portland, Jamaica.
Her love for the service industry while gaining additional useful skills and knowledge, she migrated to the United States on July 10 1985, as faith would have it Ludlow who had migrated a year earlier, and Marlene rekindled their love and romance. Ludlow requested Marlene hands in marriage on March 13, 2011, their marriage was fruitful, and the union bore three children

Nurturing and preparing her children for the future, did not deter Marlene's plans of pursing her goals. Marlene had very creative hands, whether is in culinary designs, cosmetology, scenic and re-planting she would wow you with the product. So, it was not a surprise when she shared that she had enrolled into Middlesex County Vocational and Technical College where she mastered the art of hair, and nail designs thus graduated as a certified cosmetologist in 2010.
Marlene kept going, she pursued certification in the health care field as a Patient Care Technician in which she graduated and holds certification.
Marlene worked at the Sunrise Senior Living complex in Marlboro, New Jersey as a (PCT) started on February 10, 2007, and ended March 15, 2021
She also worked in the retail industry 2010 - 2015 most notable Chanel Incorporated as a Fragrance and Cosmetologist Consultant. Her last day of employment was February 9,2022 as a Virtual Customer Service Specialist with Amazon.
Marlene is survived by her husband Ludlow, her children Mykel, Sefrah and Anthony Easie.
Marlene was a woman of deep faith, she was baptized, and became an integral part of the Usher Ministry at Eternal Life Christian Center. She often gave of herself to prepare meals for the congregant, and special events standing in the kitchen for hours to ensure that all her culinary delights were ready to be served.
Her ardent belief in Christ was so evident that in her final hours she made several phone calls, and prayed with her siblings, telling them to trust God. Nine hours later she passed away peacefully at the Robert Wood Johnson Hospital New Brunswick, New Jersey.
Their will be an public visitation on Saturday March 5th, 2022 from 8:00-10:00AM. With Funeral service from 10:00-11:15AM located at the Eternal Life Christen Church located 322 Franklin Blvd, Somerset NJ 08873. Interment will immediate follow at Franklin Memorial Park Cemetery located 1800 NJ-27, North Brunswick, NJ 08902. Funeral arraignments are handle by The Crabiel Home For Funerals.
