Margaret A. Caubet

December 16, 1981 — August 8, 2020

Margaret Anne Caubet of Milltown, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 38.

Born in Staten Island, she lived most of her life in Edison. She attended St. Matthew School, is a graduate of Bishop Ahr High School and attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick. She worked as a paralegal for Messer North America in Bridgewater.

Margaret's passion was her family and her puppies. She loved spending time with her friends, Dave Mathews music, knitting, reading, the beach, camping and especially Hawaii.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Tim and her two sons, Joseph and Anthony, her parents Daniel and Susan (Nicosia) Kovach of Edison; her sister Christine, husband Orlando and nephew Benjamin Teixeira of North Carolina and her brother Timothy Kovach and his wife Michelle of South Plainfield. She is also survived by her grandparents, Muriel Nicosia and Michael and Anneliese Kovach and her family: Michael, Patty, Emily and Rebecca Nicosia, Patty Nicosia and John Deavers, Joe, Sarah and Emma Gibson, Megan, Ostap and Alexei Pronin, Jimmy and Patty Nicosia, Matthew, Roseann, Kristen and Matthew Nicosia, Michelle, Ed, Aiden and Samantha Coyle, Diane, Andrew, Dana and Teddy Wilson, Angelo Nicosia, Rosalie Nicosia, Tom O'Neill, Ryan and Alec Bush. Amy, Michael, Jamie, Anneliese and Mary, Bill and Chris Kovach; Ginny, Pat, James and Andrew Jakimowicz; Liz, Rich, Laura and Kayden Godlesky, Anneliese, Julian and Sophia Meloni, John, Geri and Gabe Kovach and Anneliese, David, Melanie and Sarah Nault.

She is predeceased by her maternal grandfather Angelo Nicosia, niece Alaina Teixeira, and uncles Michael Kovach, Tom Kovach and Angelo Nicosia.

Friends and relatives may call on Friday, August 14 from 12 noon to 2:00 pm at St. Bartholomew RC Church, 470 Ryders Lane, East Brunswick. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following the visitation. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Speaks at www.autismspeaks.org or 1 East 33rd Street, 4th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
