Mareechi M. Patel

Mareechi M. Patel passed away suddenly on July 2, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. He was born in Anand, India, and grew up in Cresskill, New Jersey. Mareechi graduated from Stockton University and in Tucson, he worked at Banner University Medical Center. 

His family was of utmost importance to him. He was devoted to his family, a loving husband and father. He cared deeply about the less fortunate. He was passionate about protecting rescue animals and feeding the hungry. Mareechi had a big heart, a quick wit, and could make anyone laugh. He was lovingly referred to as Mareechi-kaka by all his nieces and nephews.

Mareechi is survived by his wife, Priti Rawani Patel; his two daughters Zara and Gia Patel; mother Bhamini Patel; and sister Virali Patel. Mareechi was preceded in death by his father, Mahesh Patel. 

 A pooja to honor his life will be held on Thursday, July 11th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm at Franklin Memorial Park, located at 1800 State Route 27, North Brunswick. Arrangements are by The Crabiel Home for Funerals, 170 N Main St.-at Riva Avenue, Milltown NJ,  You may sign the condolence "guestbook" at www.crabiel.com .

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The INN (Interfaith Nutrition Network, a network of soup kitchens to feed the hungry in Long Island) or the American Humane Society.
