Marcelle Batrof

Marcelle Batrof passed away peacefully on Saturday July 17, 2021, at the age of 83. Marcelle was born in 1937 and raised in Beirut Lebanon. She came to the United States in 1977 and lived in New Brunswick, Somerset before moving to East Brunswick.

Marcelle was a seamstress most of her life. She was known as a great cook and loving grandmother. She loved Taco Bell, going to Six Flags Great Adventure and help raising her grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Georgina Liefert of Aberdeen, Ramona Ojeil of East Brunswick, Antoine and Heidi Batrof of Glendale AZ, and Elise & William Schwartzmann of Spotswood; her brother Pierre Achkar and sister Denise both of Lebanon; seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren

A Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, July 21st, 10:00 am, at St. Sharbel Maronite Catholic Church in Somerset. Burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Piscataway .
