Manharkumar M. Mody

Manharkumar Manilal Mody passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick at the age of 76. Originally from Palaupur, Gujarat, India, he moved to the United States in 2001, residing in Jersey City and Edison before settling in Dayton in 2006.

Before retiring, he had a successful career as an engineer and manager at large corporations in India. He had a deep passion for writing, particularly poetry, and enjoyed immersing himself in literature.

He is survived by his wife, Taraben M. Mody; his son and daughter-in-law, Ashish and Trupti Mody of Dayton; his daughter and son-in-law, Asha and Janardan Modi of Visnagar, Gujarat, India; and four grandchildren.

A Pooja service to honor his memory will be held on Tuesday, June 18th, from 9:30-11:30 am at Franklin Memorial Park, located at Rt. 27 & Cozzens Lane, North Brunswick.
