Lynne Elizabeth Bachonski, of East Brunswick, passed away peacefully at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital on Wednesday, March 25, 2020, after fighting a seven-month battle with cancer. She was 57.
Born in New Brunswick on June 9, 1962, she was raised in East Brunswick by her predeceased parents Alexander and Patricia (Dominiecki) Tanasy and lived there for most of her life. She was a devout catholic and a communicant of St. Bartholomew RC Church in East Brunswick.
Lynne had an eccentric, colorful personality that would immediately light up a room as soon as she walked in, and she always made her presence known. She liked to talk about her day with anyone that was willing to lend an ear and was a kind and thoughtful friend who would welcome anyone into her home.
Lynne enjoyed cooking, art, going to the beach, and camping. She loved watching the N.Y. Giants, Yankees, and NASCAR with her husband, as well as various movies and T.V. shows on Bravo with her daughters. But most of all, she loved to spend precious time with her family and friends.
Surviving is her husband Michael Bachonski, her daughters Brittany and Mikaela Bachonski of East Brunswick; her brothers Glenn Tanasy of East Brunswick and Thomas Tanasy of Shenzen, China and Alexander Tanasy of Highland Park; her sisters Mary Tanasy of May's Landing and Joanne Tanasy of East Brunswick, as well as various cousins, nieces and nephews, and the family pets Harley, Luna, and Blue.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks to donate to her GoFundMe page: https://www.gofundme.com/f/in-loving-memory-of-lynne-tanasy-bachonski
