Lucien C. Van de Wiele

July 19, 1932 — December 13, 2017

Lucien C. Van de Wiele, of Piscataway, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at home. He was 85.

Born in Belgium, he came to the United States in 1950. He lived in Somerville and Finderne, before moving to Piscataway 54 years ago.

Lou served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was a tool and die maker for Mack Trucks in Bridgewater, for 30 years, retiring in 1987.

He was a member of the American Legion and the United Auto Workers Local 677.

Surviving is his wife of 59 years, Gisela E. (Beimgraben) Van de Wiele; his daughter and son-in-law Carmen and David Cejnowski of Frenchtown; his son and daughter-in-law Daniel and Dawn Van de Wiele of Piscataway; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
