Luane Chang, of West Orange, NJ passed away Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick. She was 65. Born in Taiwan, she came to the United States in 1981. She resided in Nutley, NJ for 24 years before moving to West Orange.
Luane worked for over 30 years at Evergreen Shipping in Jersey City. She loved reading and cooking, supporting those she cared about, and most of all, she loved her children. She had a green thumb.
Surviving are her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria Chang and Xiaowei Zheng of New York City; her son, Aland Chang, of West Orange; her brothers Simon Hu and Chi-Ming Hu, both of Taiwan; and her sisters Ivee Hu of California, and Diana Hu and Shan Shan Hu, both of Taiwan. There will be a family-only gathering in memory of Luane in Holmdel on Saturday, September 21, 2019.
