Louis H. Cooper, of Piscataway, passed away Friday, June 25, 2021 at Roosevelt Care Center in Edison. He was 94.
Born in the Bronx, he lived in Edison before moving to Piscataway 20 years ago.
Lou was a salesman for Maidenform in Bayonne, for 40 years, before retiring in 1997. Previously he worked for Strouse Adler and Munsingwear in NYC.
He loved sports and was a Mets fan. He was a member of the Piscataway Senior Citizens and the Goodfellow Corset Club in NYC. Lou always expressed what he thought.
He's predeceased by his wife Pearl (Lazaroff) Cooper (d. 2011), his parents Morris and Rebecca (Zuckerwise) Cooper, and his brothers Nathan and Jacob Cooper.
Surviving are his daughters and son-in-laws, Phyllis and Eric Aronowitz of South Plainfield, and Marcia and Irwin Silverstein of Piscataway; his grandchildren Danielle and Jared Aronowitz, Rebecca Zarabi and Kimberly Silverstein; and his great grandchildren Talia and Orly.
Graveside services will be held Monday, June 28th, 11:00 am, at Beth Israel Cemetery in Woodbridge.
