Lena D. King, of New Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in the loving care of her daughter Gia. She was 78.
Born in Mobile, Alabama, she lived in Florida and Newark before moving to New Brunswick in 1980.
Lena served in the United States Navy where she met her husband Vince. Most recently she worked for the United States Post Office Kilmer branch.
She enjoyed playing cards, scrabble, fishing and crabbing.
She's predeceased by her husband Vince Ol King (d. 2014), and her siblings Cliston J., John O., Ethelstine M. and Cleophus J. Bates.
Surviving are her daughters Gia King of North Brunswick, and Deirdre King of New Brunswick; her sister Marion Mason of Michigan, nine grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
