Leela I Shah

Leela I. Shah, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at Princeton Care Center. She was 80. Born in Anjar Kutch, India, she came to the United States in 1973. She resided in Hoboken, Jersey City and Florida, before moving back to New Jersey 15 years ago.

Leela was a member of the Munisuvrat Swami Jain Temple of Franklin Township. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family and friends.

She's predeceased by her husband Ishwar Shah (d. 1996).

Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law Amit and Manisha Shah of Franklin Twp., her grandchildren Keira and Kaiyen; her five brothers Kiran Mehta of Franklin Park, and Mahendra, Dhirendra, Praful and Dilip Mehta of Florida; and her sisters Sarda Mehta and Harsha Patel of Florida.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 27th, from 10:00 – 12:00 noon at Holy Cross Crematory, 840 Cranbury Rd., East Brunswick (Jamesburg).
