Lawrence H. Perkel, of East Brunswick, passed away Sunday, October 3, 2021 at home. He was 77. Born in Newark, he lived in New Brunswick before moving to East Brunswick 43 years ago.
He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an insurance agent for New York Life, before retiring.
Larry was a member of the East Brunswick Jewish Center. He enjoyed gardening and bird watching.
Surviving is his wife of 45 years, Dian (Rose) Perkel; his son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Jessica Perkel of Morristown; his granddaughter Emery; his brother Alan Perkel of Bridgewater; and his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Donald and Valerie Rose of Florida.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 5th, 11:30 am, at Washington Cemetery in South Brunswick. Contributions may be made in Larry's name to either East Brunswick Jewish Center or Hadassah.
